The Lost Hero p. 45-59
Later that night, Piper starts to fight with the head of the Aphroditie cabin about who should go on the quest with Jason and Leo. The prophecy says that in order to break Hera out of her cage, the dove and the arrow need to work together. Drew thought that should automatically be her, just because she was the head of the Aphroditie cabin. However, before the entire camp decided to agree with Drew, Piper is claimed by Aphroditie. She is suddenly transformed into a different person. Jason is amazed but Leo sets of the find the missing dragon at the camp. Leo has no idea what he will find.

As soon as they come upon Camp Half Blood, Leo is automatically claimed by Hepatitus. Piper was not yet claimed and Jason didn't need to be. They all knew that he was the son of Zeus just because of how he controled the skies. Piper kept wondering who her mother was. She kept hoping that she would be a daughter of Athena because of her strenght and courage. She even chose a knife that belonged to Helen of Troy without even knowing.

When Leo, Piper, and Jason climb into the chariot, they find a girl standing there. The first words to come out of her mouth were, "Where is Percy?" She didn't even introduce herself. Jason figured that she must really care about this person quite a bit. She told them her name was Annabeth and she was mad because instead of finding her boyfriend Percy, she came upon them. She said that she just had a feeling that Percy would be there so she climbed in her chariot and went. She didn't realize until that moment that she wasn't ment to find Percy, but instead a bunch of new half-bloods. They were to go to Camp Half-Blood. A place for half god, half human children. Jason wasn't even surprised by this fact. Infact, he wasn't even phased. It was almost like he knew who he was. However, the looks on Piper and Leo's faces were much different. They felt like they had no idea.

The Lost Hero p.20-34
When the crew come upon the Grande Canyon, they are absolutely shocked to find an unpleasant surprise. These appertains, which we find out later are storm spirits, are attacking them. However, Jason knows exactly what to do. He takes a coin out of his pocket, flips it, and it turns into a sword. He attacks, along with Coach Hodge who Jason seriously thinks has no fear. The storm spirits throw Piper of the side of a cliff and Jason jumps after her. As he awaits his death, he hopes that his body somehow defends Piper. However, they never fall because he opens his eyes, and he is flying. He puts Piper down and they see a chariot fall from the sky as Coach Hodge goes up into it.

The Lost Hero p. 1-19
Jason doesn't know where he is, as a matter of fact, he doesn't know
who he is. He wakes up, and by his side is a pretty girl with dark hair
sleeping on his shoulder. Across the way, he sees a boy, who is talking to
him. He looks around and sees that he is on a bus headed somewhere. Instead
of responding to what the boy said, he just asked who he was. The boy
claimed that they were best friends and always had been. Then the girl next
to him asked if he was alright and he couldn't remember. He did have a
headache so maybe that was causing it, but it was a very strange headache,
like he had been hit in the back of the head. He found that the girl
sitting next to him was his girlfriend and he was going on a field trip to
the Grande Canyon. He wonders if he will ever remember.

Bruisers.185-194
Although life sometimes brings you lemons, we cant always make lemonade. Bronte was his lemon and he loved her very much. However, when she went to go swim, she fell on her head. She knew it was bad the instant she fell and then passed out. However, she began to slowly regain consciousness, then she saw him. Brewster was bent over, coughing up blood, and then he fell into the pool. Bronte knew she had to get him out, so she did. She didn't know what to do because his heart wasn't beating. Then she had the idea to give it all back. She told Brewster to give back everything, the scars, the bruises, and her terrible concussion. So, Brewster's limp body did this. He gave back everything but the concussion and that was when the ambulance arrived

No wonder they have been becoming closer, because they were never together in the first place. Brew saved there family, but it is all fake. Tennyson wonders if it is worth all the pain that they are going through. Well, that they are fake going through, he would rather it be happening n real life.

As soon as Brewster stepped into the house, there was a calmness that came to everyone. Her mom and dad actually started acting normal. They were joking and laughing. Maybe things are going to go back to normal. However, Brewster starts to look sick so he asked to go to bed. Bronte was confused because this was the first night they were staying as a family. Everyone was happy too so she didn't know where he was.

The papers dont go through, and Brewster and Cody are going to be forced to move. Bronte decides she can't let this happen. So, she decides to do something drastic. She tells her family that they need to adopt Brewster and Cody. They automatically refuse. However, when Bronte said that she could be a child away from her parents they didn't believe she would do it. However, when the family got a call from a lawyer about he leaving the house, her parents said that they would consider adopting Brewster and Cody. Bronte is estatic that her plan worked because otherwise, she would have been moving out and working at Wal-Mart. Not very exciting for her

Bruiser is stuck at an old people's house. When Bronte first arrived, she was shocked to find that he wasn't home. However, Cody quickly came around the corner and gave Bronte a big hug. She sort of had the feeling she was lying the whole time. She told Bronte that Brewster was in his room. She looked sort of discusted when she told Bronte this, but Bronte didn't care. As soon as she saw Brew she gave him a big hug. He told her that he can't care about the couple that is taking care of him, so he made a huge fit, and just stays in his room. When she asks him why he can't care, and he replies that it is because they are elderly, so Brew would end up with arthritis, back pains, and the whole nine yards. Brew is also curious what the school thinks about him, and Bronte just responds by sayinng he does't want to know

Bruiser has disappeared from Bronte's life. When she heard the news, she was completely shocked. She was afraid that he was going to be sent away. Lucky for her, however, Bruiser and Cody were staying with an elderly couple, but they have been taking them out of school due to recomposing purposes. The only problem is, people at school have started spreading rumors. They say that the reason The Bruiser isn't in school is because he killed his uncle. They think he is really in jail and the school is being hush hush about it. Any intelligent person would know it isn't true, but there aren't many in a high school. Bronte decides that she needs to visit Brewster, so she finds his number and goes on her way.

Brewster knows he is having a stroke before he does. His uncle, was willing to let him die as long as he lived. His uncle, who was having a stroke was willing to let him die. This is why he can't bear it anymore. Suddenly, he has an idea. He stops caring about his uncle. He forgets if he has done anything for him, and slowly, but surely, the stroke goes back to him. Once it is gone, he can tell his uncle is dead, but he can't afford to care. What he does, is goes and gets Cody at the ice cream shop, and they await their fate. He doesn't know where they will go, but anywhere is better than there.

Tennyson is starting to get mad. Now that he has figured out Brewster's secret, he realized that Tennyson is the reason he is doing so well in lacrosse. It is not just because he is having a really good season, its because every time he is tired, Brewster feels it for him. Every time his gets injured, Brewster hurts for him. Tennyson tells him to stay as far away from his lacrosse games as possible. It he is going to win, he doesn't want to feel like his is cheating. He doesn't know what to do.

Bruiser p. 186-195
Bruiser starts to think it was the right thing to have Tennyson and Bronte to care about. Tennyson actually stood up for Bruiser. No one has ever done that for him before. Sure, Bruiser has to endure all of his work outs and his many lacrosse injuries, but he actually has a friend. Bronte, is just a plus. She cares about him even though he has shared his worst secret with him. He can't even believe that she has withstood him this long. Maybe she really does love him

Bruiser p.86-92
Bronte isn't scared of Brewster even though he is almost like an alien. She, at first, wonders why he hasn't told anyone. He then, tells her his story. His mother left because she had cancer and she knew that if she stayed, she would give it to Brewster. She left Cody and Brew at their uncles house so they wouldn't be in an orphanage. His mother called him everyday until she passed away. He loved her dearly. Also, he can't tell anyone the truth about his power because he would just get a whole bunch of needles stuck into him and most likely get killed in the process. Bronte understands him more then anyone else will and Brew is happy that she didn't run away, that she stayed with him.

Bruiser p. 76-85
Bronte decides to approach Brewster at school. She yells at him then smacks him across the face when all of a sudden, he starts bleeding. At first Bronte thinks it is from his head, but after she realizes it is from the same spot where she cut herself, by accident, with a knife herself the day before. She is at first, confused, but afterward she looks at her own hand. It doesn't even have a scratch. She takes Brewster to the nurses office and makes up some lame excuse. She apologizes for being so terrible but after he explains that if he cares about someone, any scratch that was ever someone else's, appears on his body. Bronte doesn't know what to say, but instead, she tells him she loves him and he doesn't have to respond because it shows on his hand.

Bronte is determined to have Brewster like her enough so that he will tell her the truth. However, when Brewster finally is about to come over, Tennyson warns her that something is wrong with mom and dad. Bronte ignores his constant pestering and Brewster comes over. Then, her mom and dad get into a strange fight. It turns out, their mother has been cheating on their father. Brewster, suddenly, runs out the door, breaks up with Bronte and says,"He cant care about them." Bronte's emotions start to run wild. She doesn't know what to do, but she and Tennyson just sit in the bathroom and talk. Not about the terrible things happening, but about their favorite things. It is a curious way to cope, but they are the only ones who will always be there for each other.

Bruiser p. 56-67
Bronte doesn't know what to do. She knows Brewster is lying to her, but she doesn't want to loose him either. We do start to wonder if Brewster might have a super power. Tennyson, who earlier in the day had bloody fists, had hands as good as new in a couple of hours. Curiously enough, when he talked to Brewster later that day, he had the same exact cuts on his fist. It was a very curious thing. Tennyson tells Bronte to never go to Brewster's house, and Bronte doesn't argue at all. She doesn't like his uncle

Bronte couldn't stop thinking about what Tennyson said. So, Bronte had a marvelous idea to ask Brewster to go swimming. He tried to make excuses at first, but eventually was talked into it. Cody was trying to do handstands for a long time while Brewster tried to stay out of the pool. When he finally went in, he asked to keep his shirt on. The problem was, he couldn't swim very well. So, he said it wasn't a good idea and took Cody was about to leave. However, Bronte saw Brewsters back and was utterly and thoroughly shocked. She made him stay and demanded him to tell her the truth. He said he just bruised easily but she knew it was a lie. She was so worried about him from that moment on, she couldn't even think right.

After the incident with Brewster's uncle, Tennyson is curious if his uncle beats him. Brewster assures him that his uncle does not beat him because he is scared of him. Tennyson doesn't believe him at first, but then his brother also assures him that there his uncle doesn't beat Brewster. After Brewster invites Tennyson inside, he realizes that the house is a normal house, but it almost looks like bruise. He also decides to apologize for coming on so strong about his sister and wants to start fresh. Brewster agrees then Tennyson leaves without a second thought because the house creeps him out. When he goes home, he tells Bronte to ask about his uncle. Bronte is confused, but she thinks about it.

Without a thought, Tennyson starts following him. He follows him all the way back to Brewster's house. When he got there, we find out that their old bull died. As soon as his ratty younger brother saw it, he burst into tears. However, a strange thing happened. Almost as soon as his brother started crying, he stopped, and Brewster started sobbing. Tennyson didn't know what was happening, but when his uncle came out and threatened to beat them, he got in the way. He didn't know why he cared, but he did, and he had to do something about it.

Tennyson decides that he is going to crash Bronte's date with Brewster. They don't even realize he is there until Tennyson comes up to them. He takes Brewster in the corner and says if he touches Bronte, he is in for it. After, Bronte freaks out and says she will date Brewster no matter what he says. Tennyson says that is not okay with him, but instead he tries to spy on him. He doesn't even realize what is going to happen. He made sure he stayed a little bit after gym class so he could tell Brewster off. Instead, he saw the many scars, like a battlefield up and down Brewster's back

Bruiser P. 1-25
This story starts with a boy named Tennyson. He is a lacrosse jock, an overprotective brother, and a bully. However, when his sister Bronte starts dating the boy who got voted most likely to go to prison, Tennyson freaks. He calls Bruiser, the boy who she is dating, another one of her charity cases. However, when we get to Bronte's section of the story, we find that Bruiser was just that, at first. She did know, however, that this boy was different. She actually met him at the library when he was looking for a poetry. After that, they clicked, because Bronte was named after a famous author herself. He was different, and she was happy with that.
